Diesel Sweeties pixelated webcomic creator Richard Stevens has launched Diesel Sweeties eBook-Stravaganza 3000, a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to produce an eBook of his first 3,000 comics. The campaign has been quite successful and Stevens has been adding bonus items for contributors, like the custom Red Robot thumb drive.

Geek Chic makes amazing tables specifically designed for roleplaying games.  If I were rich, I would have one of these in every room... which is likely why I'm not rich in the first place.

The Infinity Room by Yayoi Kusama

The Infinity Room is on exhibit at the Tate Modern in London from February 9th to June 5th. The Infinity Mirror Room is an installation illuminated with constantly shifting LED lights reflected by fractal mirrors in order to impart the sensation of floating through space. Created by Kusama, an 82-year-old woman who has spent most of the last forty years of her life as a voluntarily patient in a psychiatric hospital.  Read more about the exhibit at the BBC or The Guardian.

Part of an exhibit currently showing at RAW Art Fair, these relaxing and poledancing robots are built from industrial scraps and car parts, which are then controlled through a PC using a DMX programme. Making robots dance for your viewing pleasure seems like a fun night sure, but keep in mind that’s precisely how the Matrix started.

And so this past weekend, I made some Futurama brain slug cupcakes for a birthday celebration. We needed something that could travel to the pub, be delicious, be to the birthday boy's liking in terms of content, and fairly quick and easy to make, just like last year's Zappa Utility Muffins.
