10,000 Hours of 3D Printing Bring Larger-Than-Life Cast Bronze Sculpture to Georgia Tech
Analysis suggests that the way you draw a simple circle is linked to geography and cultural upbringing, deep-rooted in hundreds of years of written language, and significant in developmental psychology and trends in education today. Fascinating article!
The British library has a cookbook from the 14th century that includes (with illustrations) a recipe for roast unicorn. I especially like that it begins with "Taketh one unicorne."

Canadian artist Dave Delisle of Dave’s Geeky Ideas recently created an incredible two-person tent design concept based on a Federation shuttlecraft from Star Trek.
This is a two-man tent design that features an entrance at the back (just like the actual shuttlecraft). The tent stores in a carrying case that splits apart to become the thrusters. This started as a bunk bed design several months back, but I didn’t want to keep posting bed designs at the time, so I shelved it. Glad I could do something different for the shuttlecraft here.

Fresh Take: Elder Heroes
"Elder Heroes" by Shanghai, China-based Eddie Liu
Eddie Liu, an artist based in Shanghai, has created a short but
wonderful series that imagines what a few of our favorite superheroes
might look like when they grow old. In Liu’s interpretation, they’ve
lost some of their youthful sheen but retain all of their heroic
majesty.

I really enjoy this Roman centurion look on Wonder Woman. It looks so much more better than the patriotic swimsuits she's usually saddled with.
