Mash-Up: Pac-Man / Labyrinth Poster

"PacLabyrinth" by Josh Gilbert
Available for purchase as a print from Etsy. US$25

A mash-up of two enduring staples of the eighties, Jim Henson and 8-bit gaming.
"After finally getting a design accepted by TeeFury, I set to work on a few other design ideas, this among them: a mashup of Labyrinth and PacMan because...hell, I don't know, it sounded funny in my head. So after I finished the shirt design version, I expanded it into a full Mondo-style poster with title and credits, with the "arcade screen glow" added for good measure."

Toys: Pac Gentleman

"The Secret History of Videogames: Pac Gentleman" by Doktor A
Via Technobob

This custom toy shows us what Pacman would’ve looked like if it was made in a steampunk world. Doktor A explains it away like this:
“When this game was first released in 1880 it was so hugely popular in taverns and inns that the bank of England was forced to mint more threepenny bits to keep up with demand. The game was created by messrs Nam & Nam and Co. as a novelty pasttime for the masses. Outdoing the previous top public house game of Shove Ha’penny.”
