In a brilliant display of wit and imagination, the JavaZone community-driven conference based in Oslo, Norway, has created a winning video that seamlessly blends the worlds of programming and Game of Thrones. Running against a series of other amazing videos that garnered 100,000 votes altogether, the dramatic, pun-filled video, titled ‘Game of Codes’, shut down the competition with its stunning reimagination of the HBO series.

Fresh Take: Game of Thrones Tinder
New York-based illustrator Ashley Nawn has imagined the Tinder profiles of these characters, along with tongue-in-cheek descriptions to match their TV personalities. For example, Daenerys is described as the “Mother of dragons, breaker of chains, unless you’re into that,” while Hodor’s description simply consists of the name “Hodor.”

decided to embark on an ambitious project. Along with his friend and
fellow artist Raitan Ohi, Alencar rounded up more than 50 fellow artists
from his country and asked them to render a character from "Song of Ice
and Fire" -- the book series on which the TV show is based -- each as a
different playing card.
